I read all information about your case and and I can imagine how much time to wait in our case. We sent out forms in August 2012 and after 6 months received a reply by e-mail that our file was transferred to the local office in Calgary.. During this time, our baby was born .. as we reported in the local office ... no one explained why our file was transferred also we received a letter from local office - thун have a lot of work and our case will be considered only in September 2014!!! we are in shock .. read that you ordered foss notes, please tell us how did you ..?there is some special form? where to send it?

I know how you feel. File transfer suck! .. Our file was transferred to Edmonton in Oct. of 2011. so we are on the 16 month of waiting now. Edmonton office has 24 months of processing time.. so I hope we can get a decision this year...

I don't know what is going on with the 2010 application. I can't believe that this is really happening.... 3 years of waiting. OMG! This is really crazy.

wow..omg.. 3 years and waiting, that makes no sense, how can they do that, really, how!!! how they expect u to work and pay taxes and carry on with your happy life, that must be stressfull on your relationship thus canada promotes family wow.. not at all.. people are only human, this will definitely break people.. there must be someone u can contact about this nonsense, absolutely unacceptable..

We contacted our MP again this Week, he came back with some sort of good news, he said our file was transfered to an agent for final review on March 27....we'll keep a close eyes on ecas....

where do you live? we contacted our MP and ask to help us to find some information why our file was transferred to local office and asked to help in getting a driver's license and insurance .. because waiting time now around 17 months.. Today we got a call from them .. nothing new for us ((( and unfortunately didnt help us...

Hi Nata,
We are in Montreal.
I find that MP are very limited in the info they can get or help in moving tour file forward... He did not do much more than calling CIC. I guess our MP is in the opposition so that does not help... I think if our mP would have conservative it mat have been different.. But this is my solely opinion .

Almost at the end called cic they said application approved landing letter shoule coming in the mail.

Wonderful!!!! Congrats. We got a letter from montreal wanting us to pay the landing fee and send picture before they schedule the landing. It was all sent back last week so we are now wanting for the landing date.. Hopefully soon!
