Hi everyone. Just received word that I need to RE-SEND my medical to cic (i sent one in with the application, but i guess its expired or something?) anyways, after they receive this one i send out again....will my landing interview take place? I know no one really knows, but if I could hear a few timelines from ppl in similar situations, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks much!

What I can tell you is that my medicals were in the system after 1 month and 20 days from the day I took them.

How long do you have to wait for your landing interview? I think that's a one million dollar question. I know how frustrated you are, trust me, but it's all about luck, if a CIC agent looks in your application in a couple of months and he/she decides to approve everything then in 3 months you will get your PR. I hope everything will work in the fastest way possible for u ;) Good Luck from here!!! :)

thank you LauraCanada. I appreciate your input, I am frusterated...it's like a never-ending process.....

Anyone else want to share their experience pls feel free:)

.... its like waiting for Godot....

Lol! I just reread the story of Godot. It somehow seems highly fitting with our shared experience.

How did you apply for Foss notes?

Hi guys, new person to the forums here. :D

I am a US citizen who applied inland. I turned in my application to the case processing center in Alberta on February 13th 2012. I got notification about my application being received on May 31st 2012.

Today (September 27th 2012) I just got an e-mail saying that they have determined that I meet the eligibility requirements for a PR and they just need to make the final decision after they receive my medical and security check (which we turned in already with our application). I will call immigration tomorrow to make sure they have those in record. They also said in the letter I can now apply for a open work permit and a study permit. So far so good. Now it's just a waiting game.

Jesa

PS. Does anyone know how long things will take or is it all random?

Hi Mingming,

I'm a newbie on this forum so I can't send personal messages. I am from Toronto, I had my landing interview on Wednesday (Sept 26th) in Etobicoke. I had gotten my DM on September 8th. The landing interview went really smoothly, more time waiting than answering questions. I am so glad to have it all finished, this forum has been a blessing for support.

I am on the IEC visa and heard that if you apply for a work permit with your inland application you can continue working. Anyone know if this is true?
