Aurora9151, it seems like we have similar timeline. We got the mail last Friday, they also sent us a client update form. Not sure if we should send them a new police certificat as well even they didn't request that. Any suggestions?

hi there,as for my suggestion dont it if they don't request it, It will just delay your application.Coz if they ask that they will just give you a maximun date to send it or fax that pcc to cic.

On my foss notes it also shows my medical has been extended to Nov.1, but they just requested another one now at the 11th month after AIP. I read this from CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob423.asp and hopefully our cases are like that. :

I got AIP in August of last year and they asked for a medical re-do in Feburary AND my UK police report. I didnt hear anything from them for 8 months. Order your FOSS notes to see whats going on.

No they have not requested client history update...well not yet. In fact we have not yet received the letter, I learned about redoing medical by calling the all center, ......let's see when we get it.It is very upsetting that whole process...:-(

There won't be delay in your application if you order the foss notes.
And fill in the form here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp You can email it to them to save some time, usually you will get the notes back in 30 days since the day they get your form.

They sent me client update form 6 months ago and it was attached to my file in 3 weeks. Then after that they started my CSIS and now they requsted medical again. My mp will find out for me this week if this background check has been done or not. And I hope they won't request another police certificate since I already submitted after AIP per their request, although I know there are some cases that CIC would request repeatedly the client update form and police certificate if the processing time takes years...

How can I order FOSS

Hi Santa Cruzan!

I have ordered Foss note in May 2012 and I have posted @ Inland applicant 2011 the steps to follow. Pleasefind below theinstructions:
Hi! This is the info for the FOSS note if interested.

If your the one being sponsored and in Canada it is free (no 5$ fee).

And fill out this form IMM5563E available on CIC website.

SECTION A
1. Select Privacy Act (not Access to Information Act)
2. Select language
3. E-mail or Paper are the best choice
4. Respond Yes

Section B
• First line: Fill out name and date of birth.
• Select Electronic File and then select Permanent residence under Immigration file
• Right to Permanent residence, write down your Client ID number, FileNumber and Location (CPC Vegreville).

Section C
Check the box 'This request is submitted by a Canadian citizen...'
Fill out your contact information
Signed and Date.

The form may be emailed to atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

They will send a confirmation by e-mail for your request within the next few days. In 1 month you should received your info.

We are also afraid too to be in loop hole between background check and medical...
