I am still here...

My boyfriend got his AIP and WP March 21...we did finger prints as requested...call center said it was received april11 th...but nothig has updated on ecas....wonder how much longer it will take....I am always thinking it will come tomorrow....but I am realistic that it might only come in 6 months or longer.........We are waiting for that to move forward...start a family...It is so long!! Glad it is the summer at least...sun makes wait easier.....good luck everyboy that are still waiting...it is coming our way ! cheers !!

On a side note, I did get my FOSS notes! But I'm not sure what it means they're waiting on. Anyone FOSS note savy?

Took a closer look, seems like all they're waiting on is RCMP. MY BFD is June 20th. -sigh- Maybe ill hear some news then.

your foss notes looks like a good news to me I believe. The last part if I understand it correctly "RPRF ( deffered ) BF 20June2012." Means to me " Right of Permanent Resident Fee ( deffered, just mean delay i think ) Bring Forward 20June2012.

They will open again your file on June 20, 2012. And it should be a good news.

It's completely insensitive of them to treat people this way. I am a hardworking, honest person and so is my husband. Why are we treated like criminals? All the ridiculous questions, all the "evidence" that we need to provide in order to proof the authenticity of our relationship...and the waiting time? Don't even get me started with that! So we basically have to either endure long distance for months and months or interrupt our professional careers while they process our application. Don't they realize how disruptive this is to a relationship, to people's lives? I just want to be with my husband and the possibility of having to be away from him because of this is heartbreaking.

it seems like they've got everything they need, the only thing I don't understand is "RPRF ( deffered ) BF 20June2012", it looks like they're waiting for the money : : . Have you paid it already? or Has the local office ever sent you a letter regarding the payment?

See, I was thinking the same thing when I came to paying the RPRF. I never got a letter or anything about that. I'll ask a 'higher up' in this forum who might know a little more about FOSS notes like Leon or PMM.

Guys,i just call CIC ,and the agent was very nice to answer all my questions.....i ask my B/F date and he said april 27,2012 and i said that has passed ,he then said everything on your file is find and you have passed all the background check and every thing so any time from now i will be receiving my decision and letters in the mail.....but the are still waiting for the visa office back home bcos of my non - accompany kids apart from that am good to go...i hope they speed things up very quickly......its 8 months after AIP....Fingers cross.

Hi, Is there anyone here received their 1st stage approval? Did anyone received their open work permit at the same time? My husband is been waiting for the open work permit. Sponsorship application was sent last July 2011.
