hello guys,i would like to ask those who apply for OHIP after their AIP.....Did you receive the OHIP after the 3 months period or you got it a week before the 3 months waiting period.....just have about a week for the 3 months waiting period to expire for the OHIP card

Thanks Jurjen for the quick reply....actually its my wife whos sponsoring me...i find this kinda odd, i checked my mail this morning around 10, i found the letter address to sponsor(my Wife) that said she met the requirements as a sponsor...i just checked my mail again around 3 pm i found another letter addressed to me saying i met the requirement for PR, in there is passport request medical request and FBI fingerprints, it also ask me to apply for OWP, i guess this is AIP?!!

Yes, that's AiP! Too bad you didn't send the police certificates, the medical exam and passport up front, it would've saved some time.
When you need to add information to your file, be sure to write on the envelope "PLEASE ADD TO FILE ASAP" (combined with a cover letter that states your client ID#). Otherwise you'll have to go through the default mail-room queue: 1-2 months.

Hey guys, I am just wondering something. How come is it that people are not getting both stages approved at the same time anymore? I remember a few months back when people were getting approved for both stages at thesame time. Anyone have any ideas?

Jurgen, I am still in that mail q. My additional docs were recived on Oct.3 by Vegreville and they still have not been opened. Over 2 months now. CIC told me that Vegreville is so busy and super swamped and that CIC does not have the money to hire more people. Probably why INland did not move at all 2 weeks ago.

Hello friends!! Quick question, how the Sponsor can check the status of App (eCas)?
I do with my Client ID number, but we dont know how my wife can check her App to sponsor me! She has the PR card!

For that you need to put all your wife's information on e-cas, her client ID, surname, birth country & birthdate etc.............

Yeah,you find the client ID # on the picture side of the PR card just below her name .which a eight dget # xxxx-xxxx.hope this helps you. Good luck

Hello! I would like to make a question please, What should I do if i want to send more information to my file, because I think I didn't send enough photos of our relationship, so I would like to add a hundred of them... But i don't know how, because I read somewhere that they put the letter in the cover of the envelope with the name of both sponsor and sponsored and both client numbers... in addition of the phrase PLEASE ADD TO FILE ASAP, so in this way CIC added the information sooner that in other cases. Is this the correct form??? Please can someone help me?? Thank you so much.

And my other question is if each photo must be accompanied of an explanation of dates, people, and places.. Or just people who is in the picture. Please I will appreciate your help very much.

Hey Mark Anna I am the sponsor. My spouses status was visitors visa and he was never out of status while he has bee here. He is from the UK. I am not sure why they are taking so long. Its very frustrating.
