hello guys....finally CIC have just updated the processing time.now they are processing applications received on October 16,2010....at least they have move 4 days.... ;D

They got AIP but are still waiting for background check which may take up to 1 year.

Yes, it is true that it can take a long time to do background checks but for the chart the AIP date section can also be the date that some get "decision made" on as well as AIP since that is the date that some both got approved on. If they just got AIP alone then I use that date there. If they later get "decision made" I do not report that date. Only if both stages were approved at the same time because technically that would still be the date they got AIP approval. Hope that makes sense.

HI LY。 I have a questions.
I saw many people who send in their applications in Feb or March in the chart. but they are still waiting for DM. is that because you cannot find their information or they are actually waiting?

Please see above for part of my explanation. It also derives to the fact that they did not come back and give any information about it. They could have already landed or still be waiting, I do not know. I only put in there what is told to me. Hopefully that explains it a bit more. ;D

Why would it be? If you are in a common law relationship and have proof than that is good enough. Being engaged has nothing to do with it. If I am not interpreting your question correctly though I would love if you could rephrase it if needed.

You got both AIP and PR approved for. Now you just have wait for your local CIC office to contact you for a date to "land" on.

P.S. Seems like it took them some time to let you know. Its the 27th (here anyway, 26th your time). Usually it only takes two days after the decision is made to update the site. Hmm..
