What city are you located in again? The best place to go for this is Commissionaires. It is a bit pricey but they do a great job it and know how to do this particular request. Be sure to bring in your letter from CIC requesting the RCMP check. Be sure not to do the traditional ink and roll with the RCMP. Make sure to get them sent digitally to the RCMP. RCMP will get the results within 48 hours. The standard ink and roll will take 4 months to get back. Be sure you make sure you are getting yours back in 48 hours. You can call the Commissionaires office in your area and ask whether the results are mailed to you or if the RCMP just immediately sends the to CIC or not. They should know.

Hope that helps. They were a great helped to me when I went to get FBI after the first one I ordered was rejected. I even got my first set done at the RCMP office.

I live in Kelowna which is about 4hrs from Vancouver - I just spoke with RCMP they only do the ink and roll and Commisionaires website also say ink and roll only....I will give them a call once they open and see if they do to digital printing and what the procedure is for sending of the prints.....I really just want the process finished with. I wish they requested that during the last 9 month wait rather than waiting for the AIP. It seems a little strange.

Just as a question I sent my FOSS request on may 16 should I have received my notes by now?

No, ardmac usually if they need a police clearance it is asked for after AIP because as you know the process is in two stages. 1st: Sponsor and Applicant basic eligibility met and 2. Applicant's medical, security and background checks are looked at. Then of course once the 2nd part is done you will have decision made and will become a PR. And they do digital for RCMP there. I asked before when I was last there because I wanted to know if they could send digital prints to the FBI and they said no, that it was only used for RCMP checks. They are very nice and helpful there. And FOSS notes usually take 3-4 weeks to arrive but as you know the strike is going on right now so you have to factor that in a bit. Don't worry so much, your FOSS are completely fine.

P.S. No need to travel 4 hours to Vancouver when there is a Commissionaires in Kelowna.

Nothing yet for me. I dont expect to hear much for a few weeks. I called up last week again and they told me my appliation isnt closed or anything. They sent me another batch of letters. My boyfriend was supposed to recieve some letters in the mail and never got his either. So...it's not just CIC that is messing up the mail around here. Which makes me scratch my head and breathe a sigh of relief. I'm visiting this forum less and less due to just trying not to freak out and worry. As much good news is coming along...I would like a piece of the pie too, and I'm not getting any news so it just makes me upset sometimes. I've made small sticky notes around the house reminding me to keep my chin up and my time will come soon. It really helps sometimes. I hope everyone is well. <3

Canada Post on strike in Edmonton and Calgary area. I hope Vegreville is not affected.

A quick question. I am on the 6th month mark since they received application.Is it advisable to get my police clearance now for both countries because of the long wait and processing or just wait until they ask for it? I sent both before with my application. Thanks

Congrats everyone who have received good news - especially Love Young - all that worrying and fretting and look today you are landed- congrats! God has said " I will give you rain in due season". I'm staying in faith that our turn will come very soon. June 18th will be 5 months since we got AIP. Our appl was received since dec 2009. There are so many people that have landed that applied after us, but in due season, we will also be landing.
