Questions for the experts. Me and my hubby moved to a different city here in AB. I already updated our address online. I was just wondering, should we update my husbands' info regarding work? Like the change of employer. If so, how do we do that? Thanks in advance.

You will need to wait until it is in process before you can be certain it will be attached to the application or else you risk it being lost.
Do you know your Client ID Number yet?

Yes, applied this year.
Do not know about Client ID yet. so I guess I need to wait untill it is in process and knoe the client ID.

This has been the longest week ever. Brings me back to as a kid and feeling like Christmas would never come soon enough.
Every day I wake up hoping for news and well it doesn't happen. I know it will happen one day but I guess I am impatient and want it to happen today. 4 days from it being 10 months that they have had it. I would like to assume that they only reason they would keep it so long is to try to finish both stages at the same time but of course I won't know until I get there. I don't know what I am going to do today or for the rest of the week but I am just going to keep myself as busy as ever. Well all in all like hubby said, everyday brings us closer and closer to finding out. Dear CIC, please be kind and give us good news and soon. We love you. Hehe...

Anyway, to all of you that remember what this EXACT moment was like, can you give your advice on how you dealt with this time and how you kept busy? I could really use the tips and advice. Thanks.

Hi LY,

I totally understand you and I have to say that I am supper anxious about your papers (I have to wait 4 months more to get mines). Now, talking about "how to keep ourselves busy". I am doing a volunteer every morning. It is not the nicest job, but for me it is a good way to learn English, to meet new people and get "canadian work experience". Another thing that I have been doing a lot is reading. I can recommend you some really good books: "The tipping point"; "Outliers"; "Plan B 4.0": etc... It is really bad to be in a situation like the one we are in. But we have to find the way to seize this incredible amount of free time.
LY, you are incredible close to get you paper... I should spend this last few days making a list of what you want to do once you have your papers and how you are going to do it.

Wow thanks for the tips. They are wonderful. ;D Yeah I definitely need to take advantage of this free time while I have it. And I already have a huge "to-do" list for what I need or plan to do after AIP/PR. But if you have anything else to add, I would appreciate that for sure.
