Well you deserve the drink for sure. Me and hubby aren't big drinkers either so we will just celebrate with going out to eat and maybe a sip or two of drinks if we celebrate with all our friends. Don't people that apply through Quebec usually take a month extra for an answer? You should be so happy for getting news this soon. Yay!

Thanks so much L_Y , you are really nice!! yes applications from quebec are supposed to go slower but these days they are going at the same speed as federal applications because the quebec government is very fast at processing its part. also the federal government seems to get things in advance by sending us (the applicants) a letter to continue with the quebec government almost a couple of months before getting AIP or PR so that the quebec government has time to process you application in time to get in line with the federal like anyone else ;D
