inland application HELP

Hi

I hope you can help me,my husband and I applied on inland application, application went to process in September 2011 no word from them yet in a mean time i extended his visit for another 6 months..last week my husband had to leave the country his family member died...so i'm worried now if he is going to be able to return back to Canada....his visitor visa is valid till June if that means anything...

please help.... Thank you

Unfortunately the visa extension no longer valid once your husband leaves the country. So the fact that it would have been valid until June (if he had remained in Canada) won't mean anything or help in re-entering Canada.

Is he from a visa exempt country?
