INLAND Application COMPLETE - interview waiting time with Montreal CIC?

Hi all,

I applied for an inland application quite some time ago (2013, bit of a nightmare, lost paperwork and miscommunication). I finally received a letter from CIC Mis. Inland SCLP (dated 20th June) stating that the paper application is now complete.

Dear (My Name):

This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or

Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The

Canada Immigration Centre in Montreal will contact you to arrange an appointment for the

finalization of your permanent resident application.

Hooray! However, I'm still waiting for the invitation and have no idea how long that'll take. I've read the PR card takes around 59 days once they give a final decision.

Also the process is now complete, I can no longer see my application process status with the usual UCI - which is to be expected I guess.

Anybody have any idea how long the wait-time is from Montreal CIC for interviews?

4-6 weeks, then interview about 2 weeks later.

And you're supposed to be able to still see your application, up to 180 days after landing.
Once landed, it should change to complete. Right now it should say decision made.

Very helpful - thanks Danny. I checked the application status again - must have been a glitch. Shows as Decision Made - which is a relief.

Maybe they were just updating ecas at the same time you were checking the status
