Hi,
I had applied for my PR in August 2010 and finally today E-Cas shows Decision Made. Here is the status of my application.

We received your application for permanent residence on August 16, 2010.

We started processing your application on October 13, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

We sent you a letter on May 27, 2011 to ..... about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

I just wanted to know even after the decesion made, would they yet call for an interview or how the process would be. Just too excited about the status change and could not wait for the letter to arrive which would be another week.

Thanks

Congratulations for you both.....I applied in August 17, 2010 so I should hear something soon then.....Are you guys in the family class?

Since it says 'medical has been recieved', more than likely you have been approved for both AIP and PR. So they will send you a letter with your PR interview date soon.

COLDGIRL...immigration recieved my medical too....hope and pray ur right..hope to recieve a mail this week accdg to cic last week

i read it in some places that if your ecas status say medical recieved, then both stages are approved. I hope and pray that is the case for both of you!! Maybe you should call CIC, so you dont have to be so anxious. :)

i called last week and they told me ...ill be recieving the mail this week....and i will just follow what was written there....hope everything will be ok...thanks

Sorry to give u bad news. I went into canada Post website and www.cupw.ca (trade unions website) and it seems that a strike will be very likely. they haven't reached an agreement yet and it seems that for now they will not reach it. Apparently only money and pension checks will be delivered. That sucks to say the least!!!! Let's hope it doesn't happen or if it does they will eventually reach an agreement soon

Hi Mona Barca,
Yes I had applied under Family class.

Hi,
Just received a letter from them today saying you would receive a letter from the local CIC office in Vancouver for an interview date. Now just waiting for the letter and getting done with the PR business. High time, need to start looking for a job.

You can start looking for a job, but if you don't have a SIN yet, it could take a while before you get one. Services Canada only gives one with a PR card, which is only sent a few weeks after landing (currently 33 business days for the process + shipping).
