Almost 3months now but when I had my landing it was 2 and a half month... Good luck

I received a letter from CIC telling my husband to come to their office to " confirm permanent residency".
They are asking for us to bring all immigration documentation - what would that include?
Work Visa anything else?
Thanks

Any visa or work permit you may have
Or any visitor record

Congrats on your DM. Good to see more 2011 people landing

Hey guys
Does anyone knows how long it takes after landing at Scarborough office to get the pr card ??

Hi everyone,

My second stage decision was made on 13th may, since then I have been waiting for the letter. Does anyone have any idea how long it could take? I am getting worried, may be it got lost in mail or something? How can I find the outcome of my decision ? Call centre definately does not help but I will call them today. I am also ordering the Foss notes may be I will know the outcome through that. This whole system is too long and not fair. Now long wait for the letter lol.

Plz any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi everyone,

A strange thing happened today. My ecas was updated on 13th may showing that a decision has been made and office will inform you about the decision. After a month still I am waiting for the letter so I decided to call to the Cic office. After alot of tries I got connected, the agent told me that no decision has been made however they received all confirmations of this stage and application is on it's final review stages. When I mentioned to the agent about my ecas status he said that is wrong never trust on ecas online. I was shocked either they don't have access to that database or not trained to look up that information.

Now I am worried and don't know what are they doing? Anyone any suggestion/experience please share! I will really appreciate that. I have applied the online notes again

Hi, does anyone know on average how long it takes to receive your PR card once you've landed? More specifically, I landed on May 31st in Etobicoke and I'm just wondering when I can expect to receive my PR card in the mail. I've heard it can take up to 3 months but when I landed it was mentioned that it would take on average 3 weeks. Also, I've heard there is a strike and I'm wondering if that could affect when I get my PR card in the mail or if that is more in regards to applications that are still in progress. After a 2 year wait, I'm anxious to travel internationally. ;D

Thanks in advance!

They post current times on the CIC website - right not it's just over 2 months. The Sydney office shouldn't be impacted by the foreign service workers labour action since they are not foreign service workers in Sydney NS (where the PR cards are produced).

Hey everyone,

I rang to Cic call centre on Friday and this time a nice guy answered. He told me that I have been approved the second stage and wil get letter I'm two to three days. Feeling so much better now but still waiting for the letter lol
