Any visa or work permit you may havepad980 said:I received a letter from CIC telling my husband to come to their office to " confirm permanent residency".
They are asking for us to bring all immigration documentation - what would that include?
Work Visa anything else?
Thanks
They post current times on the CIC website - right not it's just over 2 months. The Sydney office shouldn't be impacted by the foreign service workers labour action since they are not foreign service workers in Sydney NS (where the PR cards are produced).bia_rmm said:Hi, does anyone know on average how long it takes to receive your PR card once you've landed? More specifically, I landed on May 31st in Etobicoke and I'm just wondering when I can expect to receive my PR card in the mail. I've heard it can take up to 3 months but when I landed it was mentioned that it would take on average 3 weeks. Also, I've heard there is a strike and I'm wondering if that could affect when I get my PR card in the mail or if that is more in regards to applications that are still in progress. After a 2 year wait, I'm anxious to travel internationally. ;D
Thanks in advance!
