Send Montreal a copy of the PCC you did send to CPC-V, along with your signed courier receipt showing they DID receive it. Order a new PCC in the meantime, because it may still be faster to do it that way than to wait until someone in Vegreville finds they're using your PCC to prop up a table leg in the coffee room.Zion786 said:Who's in for some good laughs?......if you are read below
I got AIP in Sep 2012, I sent the police certificate from my country in Oct 2012, In mid Oct 2012, my file was transferred to the Montreal Office for further assessment. I called CIC last week to get an update on the status of my application. I was told the file is still in process in Montreal. The representative then said, "did you send the police certificate from your country?". I replied "yes". He went on to say that CIC Vegreville did not receive it. My obvious response was one filled with surprise and worry. The next day someone from CIC called me and said that the call was a follow up to my phone call to CIC the day before.
The lady I spoke with said that it is advised that I resend the documents to CIC Montreal. It was really hard to hold my laughter, but I managed. So firstly, it takes me to contact CIC for them to realize that something of extreme importance is missing in my file, that to due to their own incompetence. Secondly, instead of asking Vegreville to send Montreal the missing documents Im asked to provide them again. "Laud Applause".What a load of CRAP!. Its a 2 month process to get the police certificate from my country. Im writing a letter to Vegreville to send the missing documents to Montreal. I mean im not at fault here. Only God knows how long of a delay this could mean. My file has been at the Montreal office for 7 months now.
Any advice Computergeek or anyone else?
Did you do your medical before or after me?StoneTable said:I got a letter from CIC today, asking me to redo my medical.
I received a letter from CIC telling my husband to come to their office to " confirm permanent residency".pad980 said:I checked my husbands application online and this is what it said.
"We received your application for permanent residence on October 6, 2011.
We started processing your application on August 30, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. "
Does anyone know how long the wait is now and what happends next?
