Finally, after a grrrreeat limbo, today, I received a precious e-mail from Ottawa to send our passports to Detroit. Praise to the Lord for all things that we have been through. Thanks for this forum and especially for YOU GUYS where I have been a silent follower but your comments / answers are great resources for me and my wife. I hope you guys will receive PPR too before long and your patience will be paid off eventually.

Here's my CAS:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 26, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

Congratulations! That's awesome! It looks like you were an FSW case, right?

Good luck getting your passports back and landing!

yes we Got AIP and second stage complete, we are suppose to land on OCT,26th.

from what I have seen so far transferring your application before you receive AIP could mean number of things. 1, there is not enough evidence or doubt about the relationship. 2 the application is incomplete or missing information, 3 if the requested documents haven`t been received. the security check also takes time depending on the situations.

whats your complete timeline?

One for my hubby saying he has met the requirements to sponsor me and one for me saying the same and they have sent me my OWP etc.
They haven't required any further documents, thankfully.
Funny thing is my hubby now has a client number and when we log into his Ecas, Under Sponsor AND Pr is sayd Decision Made

Hopefully we are near the end

Hi Kitchener

Yes, I was happy they didn't request any more docs
I'm sure we will hear soon :) :)

I applied on July 29, 2011 and the application was received on August 2, 2011.
They started processing the sponsorship application on September 12, 2011 and a letter was sent on June 19, 2012.
They started processing the permanent residence application on June 19, 2012 and I received both the AIP and OWP letter on June 25, 2012.
I did my medical on the July 18, 2012 and received my OWP already.
Are there anyone in the same situation and still haven't heard anything about second stage approval?
Also which local immigration office would you be landing in if you reside in Edmonton?

Thanks!

Hey Johanna how was your interview?

So do they assist you in applying for the PR card on your landing interview day or you have to do it on your own after you land?

One copy of your COPR is sent to Sydney, NS, and from that they generate your PR card and mail it to you. So you don't need to do anything to get it.

Currently, the CIC site says it requires 64 calendar days to process an application for your first PR card.

Same here...
Something is wrong with the august batch.
I am like You with a very simple case, first marriage no kids etc... and still people are getting the whole process approved after 9 months only applying 5 months after us.
I am happy for all of the people approved but something is terribly wrong there.
The thing is that you can't talk to anyone and the agents are obviously useless not because they want to be but because they don't have any access to real data.
Are there any other august 2011 applicants here that didn't get DM ?
Frustration is not how we really feel,is more like angry of being so out of control of our lives.

Same here as well. Applied July 29th. Fairly simple case but still waiting...sigh

Same here,
As I wrote before,it seems like the July/Aug 2011 batch has a realy bad luck...
There is no sense that people that apply 6 months after this batch are already landing...
If it was one or two people I would get it but almost all of July/Aug didn't get DM...

Yup makes no sense! But this is CIC for you. You can't put anything past them!
