Quick question about ohip:

After you landed as PR and once you get your confirmation of PR paper, if you apply for ohip right away, will ohip coverage be immediately on day 1? Or will ohip begin after 3 months from landing date?

OHIP starts 3 months from your AIP date.

HI Lab...

If ur e-cas shows in process under pr that means u only got aip, ours has been like that since Feb 29, when u click on it it says medical results bla bla and a decision has been made, that is because your sponsorship has been approved but they are working on the second stage.. second stage will be done once your e-cas shows DECISION MADE on the blue letters, and when you click on it it will say besides the a decision has been made and you will be contacted, We sent you a letter regarding your decision to XXXXXX < that means your done... until then it only means AIP

Just let you guys know, today I received the letter from Scarborough office for landing interview on Nov 26, the letter was dated Oct 5. Finally, the letter came after 1 month and 11 days apart from my AIP and DM date. Thank you very much for your all supports during the waiting time. Best luck to all of you!

So I just got off the phone with CIC.
I called mainly because we didn't receive any AIP letters yet.
He confirmed that we have AIP but NOT stage 2
So the waiting goes on.............
At least I have my OWP, so let the job hunting commence

Hi everyone!
I got a letter today regarding my landing interview!!! ;D

its dated Oct, 26th I was expecting sometime in November but to a good surprise its earlier.
it feels unreal. that finally after a long stressful time and after so much ups and down its almost here! finally we can have a normal life and finally we would be able to see my parents who I haven't seen in years!

I really hope and wish every one of you get your positive results very soon! we all have been through much ups and downs hope everyone gets good news, be positive the light will shine through!
