angtao and people, don't know if anyone asked this question before.
When you enter clientID into eCas, does it accept xxxx-xxxx or xxxxxxxx or both?
I skimmed on all posts in 2010 and 2011 threads but didn't see anyone asked or I might miss the answer around or just I'm the most stupid here.
Please give me an advice guys! Thanks in advance.

I always enter mine as xxxxxxxx. I haven't tried the other way with the '-', but will tomorrow and let you know

Thanks a lot Angus, let me know if you find another way work too please.
Have a good day guys!

Hello Yymamy... why dont you use the bar we all have to track our application timeline? it look nice to see everybody's personality on those cute bars... and then you added into your profile :)

Good week to everybody!!!

I have been facing this problem lately in regard to my police clearance which I realized now. I have lived in Singapore, US and my native country for more than 6 months since reaching the age of 18 and When I filed my application, the police certs were a couple weeks beyond 3 months range.

At the time of application, Singapore doesn't want to issue the Police certificate to non-citizen unless immigration appeal them to issue to me. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/singapore.asp
Also my FBI clearance was 3 months and 2 weeks old and my native country's police clearance was 4 months old.

Does it make a difference as I left my native country like 8 years ago and have not lived there more than 6 months since them. Also I have not gone back to singapore since 2007 and also I have left US since 2010 and I have been living in canada since then. I requested FBI clearance a week before leaving US.

Or Should i request FBI clearance and Police certificate now and send them to CIC to attach with my application ?

Dont know what to do with singapore COC clearance as I have to wait for appeal letter from CIC? Should I approach CIC and ask them to send me the letter own my own or wait to hear from them?

Tecle, I am not sure about that. Apparently someone in the 2010 thread got the same thing. Maybe call CIC and ask them if you got AIP.

missha, I am not sure what you should do. Sorry. Maybe post in 2010 thread.

hi, today i received another letter saying i meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status, a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. (medical, security and background checks)
But they ask for the medical with the form, I did last april, so , i called now the clinic the doctor will call me again this week cause he had to sent again, i am not really sure the mistake there,
they asking too for the fingerprints

hi everyone! anyone know to take the ontario driver license under implied status?

I dont think so. Alot of people apply extension of visitor status and once they get it, they get temporary license but I have not heard getting anyone on implied status so far.

I went today to put the fingerprint, and sign a document its for the canadian police to check my security hear, and the doctor have to send again the results of medical check, but apparently I am in the second phase. But not really sure.

Tecle, call CIC and ask them if you have AIP.

Wow, well that would be interesting, please keep us updated Tecle!

I don't know, why they ask for the medical check, I done in April.
I can't call always busy but in the remarks of the work permit write"approval in principle"

Hi everyone!

Just found this forum and thread! Looks great for moral support and useful information.

Vegreville received my application on July 26, and still it does not seem to be in process. I can only check on the CAS with my receipt number, but nothing comes up..

Any similar timelines here? For those whose application is being processed, did you receive a letter or did you only find out online?

Thanks for any comments and good luck to all of you!

Welcome to the thread. My aplication is in process, and I asked the agent on the phone if I am going to get aknolegement letter and she said no. Inland aplicants dont get anything to say the aplication went in process. I found out by e-cas. Good luck to you too!!!! :)
