7 days jump update.

Yes, I am curious to know what the jumps are going to be like for the next 9 weeks. That takes us through to July and August and a lot of people take vacation in the summer.

Hi guys,

Does anyone here know about this rule?

"As any time spent in Canada before you were a permanent resident is counted at half-value, dropping a half day at the start of your residence period and replacing it with a full day at the end brings you towards meeting the requirement more slowly than simply adding a full day at the end—for every day you gain you lose another half day."

I got this info from CIC website, looks like our days spent here in Canada while waiting is not all in vain. Here's the link:

I am under family class (parents and grandparents), my sister sponsored me from canada.

Hi ssingh !

Looks like you are in a wrong Thread. People here applied Inland ( within Canada ) and most of them are married partners / commom law partner. You are very welcome here but your case is different on this thread. This thread would not be much help for you.

I found a thread that would be helpful with your case. Please click the link below.

Goodluck on your application!

Yes you can Chau, you just have to go to a registry which accepts Alberta Health Applications/Renewals.

Thanks Lovely20.

Also is it safe to leave Canada and re-enter on work permit, while PR application is in process?

Thanks

Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a great long weekend. We sure did.

Ryan, yes, I already knew that. Love it!

Also, it looks like this Wed it is going to be a good jump considering they were closed on Friday and had one less working day. Someone from the 2010 thread just got approved that sent there's in on Sept.23. That is about 9 days ahead.

Chin up everyone!

4 day jump today - It now says Sept.18
Not bad I guess, they did have one less day to work on July 1 and also it does slow down in the summer as people take vacation.

Good news is that someone in the Inland 2010 thread just got approved and there's was sent on Sept.27. They are obviously working ahead of schedule.

Thanks for always lifting our spirits angtao!! you are doing a great job :) :) :)

Thanks Ryan. I try to keep this thread alive but I know we are all busy and just waiting for the time to pass.

What has everyone been doing to keep busy? I am sure it is not difficult to keep busy in the summer with this great weather we are having.

Where is everyone from in Canada? I am from Toronto.
