I called up CIC a few minutes ago, they have given me my client ID number and the status of my application, they told me they started processing May 18th, which was yesterday, i tried logging in to ecas but i could not log in. Anyway, my timeline for now:

May 3 - Application Received by Vegreville
May 18 - Started processing (confirmed via phone and not on ecas)

Hoping for everyone to get good news real soon!!

I really hope they keep up these 12 day jumps.

Ryan, congrats on the opening your package. I don't know how long it takes to show on e-cas as mine started processing on Apr.19 and I checked it on Apr.24 and it was there. I was just checking for fun and I was shocked to see that our package was in process.

Inlandappl, they are opening up packages after 2 weeks now of receiving them. That is awesome.
Crazy eh!

Seems like things are going really fast now, which is great. Not too much longer until they start the 2011 applicants. Keep your spirits high and if you ever need a talk, I will be here or try really really hard to be. Try to be as productive as possible during the wait and plan on the things you need to do after approval so it eases your mind even more after the approval to know the next things to get done. And appreciate every little moment with your loved ones. All the days do seem long but it is all worth it and one day the weight of the world will be lifted off. It will be the most amazing feeling ever. Soon...it will be you that feels that. Don't give up and know that true love will always prevail. Trust in that and yourselves. Good luck!!! :-*
