yep. frustrating. and also strange about funds, what stream are you in? aren't inland applicants don't need to show funds?
Not sure. For my case, I am working in Canada but did not want to use my offer letter as part of the application. Submitted a letter from my bank but they wanted more detailed information. In fact I did receive a communication from them yesterday for what information they were looking for and submitted additional document today.

Got my MEP passed today and I have gone to IP1. Is this normal for FSW-Inland? I seem to recall seeing quite a few people went straight to IP2?

I always forget the ip1, ip2 meaning but what I hear is that it doesn't matter in the new system
Yes, IP1 and IP2 have a very little relevance with the actual progressing of your application. In my opinion, those who have been in IP1 forever it doesn't mean that the security and criminality checks haven't started yet and on the other hand for those who either quickly jumped to or have always been in IP2 it doesn't mean that they have passed the security and criminality. Mostly for those who have always been in IP2 it means that their criminality is recommended passed by the CIO before the file transferred to the visa office. However, at the primary visa office, the officer might do the criminality checks again by reverifying the provided Police certificates.

Above all the most important and probably the longest checks are for the eligibility tests. Once you know you have cleared this stage successfully then you could have the peace of mind that your chances of rejections have almost gone to zero.

Is there a way to know when the application has passed Eligibility?

so I got this weird email from IRCC which says the following

"On December 12, 2018, you’ll see a progress bar for your Express Entry application. The progress bar shows the time elapsed since we received your application. It will give you an estimated completion date based on our latest estimated processing times. We’ll let you know when the progress bar is available for your application."

I was like, what crap. What was this, i would have preferred an update to my profile. Still went ahead and checked.

Looks like I got an update for the medicals (didn't receive an update on my email for the meds). Additionally, I got my application UCI updated from CAN00000XXXXXXXX to the one I had when I had applied for my student permit.

They also updated my biometrics information by plucking out the information of my student permit and putting it on my profile and giving it an expiry date ten years from the date i gave my biometrics. Funnily enough the status still shows you don't need biometrics.

I am FSW-inland applicant and now the profile shows this

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help - Review of eligibility
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam. Help - Review of medical results
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents. Help - Review of additional documents
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Interview
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Biometrics
Background check Not applicable. Help - Background check
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Good to see at least some movement

Everyone has got this email.
Although you didn't recieve any updates for your medicals, based on your status, you have passed the medicals and since UCI is updated to original that means your file is transferred to primary VO from CIO.

I don't think this new change by CIC would be that bad. At least this line 'It will give you an estimated completion date based on our latest estimated processing times' means that now we will get to see estimated completion date which would be official and we don't have to go anywhere else to see when approximately we could expect to get the PPR.
I'm looking forward to December, 12.

I got the email with a one day lag it seems.

What do you mean by file is transferred from CIO to primary VO?

All files usually first go to CIO and then (usually after medicals and preliminary criminality checks) distributed to different visa offices across the globe. For example, my file was transferred to Montreal Visa Office from CIO on the 25th day since my AOR. At primary VO, all three important stages of your application, Eligibility, Security, and Criminality are done. In some cases, though very rarely, a file may transfer to one primary VO to other.
