I have been looking for the answer to this question everywhere but I just can't get a straight answer. My father is Canadian but I was born outside of Canada in 1991 in the UK. Does this make me a citizen due to the first generation law of citizenship? If so would I need to attach proof of this to my application?

Any help to the answer of this question would be very much appreciated.

If your father was a Canadian citizen when you were born, then you are a Canadian citizen. All you need to do is apply for proof of citizenship: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof-how.asp
