Information: Get Indian PCC in One day(Canada Only)

Guys,

If you need Indian PCC on same day, just visit India Consulate as they have emergency service but you have to pay almost double fee (91 CAD).

You need to carry following docs

1. Indian Passport
2. Police Clearance Application Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI-CGI_Police%20Clearance%20Certificate%20form.pdf
3. 4 Copies of Police Clearance Reference Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI_CGI_Police_Clearance_Reference_form.PDF
4. 4 Photographs,as specified here http://www.blsindia-canada.com/photo_spec.php
5. Copy of status document
6. Copy of address proof
7. Bank draft of CAD 91 on the name of "Consulate General of India", Please get this fee verified as it might vary in Vancouver or Ottawa.

In Toronto, there is a Canada post shop in same building that provides photographs, print, photo copy and bank draft services.

that is good to know and thanks for sharing information , just so you know , fee at BLS for that is $74.10 so there isn't much difference , plus getting it in one day , how cool is that .

Wow, 1 day rush service for PCC? Here I had to pay $80 at my country's consulate just to get a Letter of Authorization, so I could ship it back to get my family applied for me, and it will take another 3 months to get processed.

that is good to know and thanks for sharing information , just so you know , fee at BLS for that is $74.10 so there isn't much difference , plus getting it in one day , how cool is that .

and best thing is that queue is not long there, I entered around 9:30 AM and left around 11:15 AM. so it is just matter of couple of hours.

However, I had to go outside twice as I was not carrying address proof copy and bank draft.

It can be done in one day ONLY if you got you passport renewed in Canada in the recent past (police verification is done during that time). If you have your passport issued from India, then it will take the usual 3-4 weeks.

It can be done in one day ONLY if you got you passport renewed in Canada in the recent past (police verification is done during that time). If you have your passport issued from India, then it will take the usual 3-4 weeks.

Well, I am not sure for that but I saw many people there in embassy for emergence PCC request and all of them got it. I remember at least 2-3 face who as for it in front of my.
I am not expert but as I understand that any one should get it if his passport was issued after police verification in India. A full police check will be required if someone got passport in one day through emergence service.

and there is no harm in trying

I am not expert but as I understand that you need to mention you permanent address in India.

in last table of PCC form, you need to enter all addresses with date where you stayed during your India visit after coming to Canada.

I paid $44 per applicant at the BLS Brampton just a week ago. I will be picking up my certificate and no delivery option opted.

BLS Fee is 44 CAD, 20 -30 delivery charge.

But if time matters than 91 CAD is not Bad
