That's interesting. Thanks for the iinfo.

I have booked my return ticket with etihad airways. It's much easier.
That’s the better route, as long as you have 4+ hours, you can get your PCR done in AUH & come back to Canada.

Exactly. I have a layover of 4 hours 50 minutes. It shouldn't be a problem.

Hi @vishalv, Sorry if I am missing something, but are you talking about taking a flight from India to Canada via Abu Dhabi? Does AUH have testing facility for transit passengers?

Yup I was talking about the return flight from India to Canada via UAE (Abu Dhabi) through Etihad airways.

Passengers can use testing services available at Abu Dhabi airport to get RT PCR test. The condition is your transit should be a minimum of 4 hours at the airport. The staff at the airport will ensure that your results arrive in time to catch your connecting flight.

You will have to prepay for the test in India at the check in counter ($50 USD).

Guys, show some support on twitter if you want this senseless requirement to end causing stress to fully vaccinated Indian passengers.

Canada has limited what lab can do the PCR test and created a smaller window to do the test. I assume that one of the issues were labs that weren’t providing accurate results or allowing people to pay for test results without testing. It’s incorrect to say that Canada has allowed PCR testing for all direct flights. There are some very strict requirements associated with testing for the direct flight.

Guys anyone know which is the best indirect route and cheapest route to travel from india to Vancouver canada please suggest and help me

Try searching direct Air Canada flight from depending on date of your travel. Also check if there is any Air India direct flight.

Sorry, just noticed that you want to know about indirect flights. But I think direct flights are cheaper if you exclude holiday period.

Actually prices are too damn high my college starts on January 4 2022 prices starting from…1,40,000 so i guess indirect routes can be cheaper…

Hello guys, I want to travel back to Canada as well next month. But the flight tickets are too costly. Even Etihad is not affordable. Any other route which is affordable?

In the same dilemma now. Anyone tried the Sri Lanka route (Colombo) and has an experience to share?

And, anyone with experience from Dubai?
