Sure,

1. Delhi - Amsterdam - Mexico City - Toronto
2. 92k to Mexico and 25k to Toronto. I booked everything myself, I don't trust agents.
3. 2 nights in Mexico. You can stay shorter but I wanted to play it safe just in case RTPCR result takes longer.
4. I'm staying in Camino Real, its connected to the airport via a tunnel, plus free breakfast lol.

Hope this helps.

You rockstar!

Well done. Sounds fab. If I take this trip, I might stay in mexico a bit longer. BTW, how did you land 92 K for mexico? that's a good deal

Personally, I don't think you'll need to stay in Mexico any longer than 2 nights. As for the 92k ticket, I booked my itinerary on July 7th and prices were around this then. If you can afford it I feel Mexico is the easiest indirect route.

Longer just to eat mexican food and roam around the streets. lol.

I am also considering selling my jewellery and splurge in Maldives.

Only condition - whichever has cheaper ticket price.

Lol, I've travelled to Mexico in the past and its a great city. This time I just wanna be cautious cause there's a test waiting for me in Toronto.

Also, be careful of Maldives or these other countries. These routes are new and can change in a blink like Serbia and Qatar, Mexico's been always open.

I really like your point. Good suggestion. One of the most sensible ones from this thread. I will mostly be going via Maldives , just to enjoy the paradise island.
Do you think direct flights prices will shoot up.. Maybe beyond 1 lakh INR? Also, do you think there are chances, covid numbers might escalate and ban might extend? How strong is your source?
Also, it is shocking the way most countries are treating India as a joke and implementing all kinds of new rules for Indian passengers overnight or extending the ban, in this situation, unless our government intervenes, I am finding it hard to be hopeful that flights might open up. Especially since our government is useless.

Air India flights don't have availability until Sep 15th (very few tickets before it) and the cost is around 1.25-1.6L (based on which city you're starting in India)..It is just a money game with countries quarantine and airlines..

I kind of reckoned that. I realised there is no point to wait. I mean it is good to be patient but many of us have been patient since early this year. I feel if you are priviledged enough to have resources,, it is wise to move soon. I am wating for my passport to arrive and then I am out asap.

Can anyone confirm whether Maldives is open for non-vaccinated individuals too? I checked many sites and none of them mentioned the need for vaccines to not quarantine. I am asking for a friend who is stranded here cause he was not able to get his second dose of Pfizer since it is not available in India.

I was in the Maldives three months ago. So now a lot of things have changed. I tried to find online but no concrete information. Can you ask your friend to contact the airlines and be sure? Airlines know all of these rules. Hope it gets resolved asap.

Guys, any idea on taking a flight from Delhi to Toronto with a short layover in London? I sense there is some reason why people aren’t taking this route lol
