My wife and infant son are currently in India. Wife is an OCI holder, while son is in India on e-visa. The visa conditions allow max stay of 180 days which can be extended through the FRRO office in India. However, when I try registering him on the e-FRRO portal, it says that children under 12 years old don't require FRRO registration. Has anyone been through this situation? Any advice what to do in this situation?

What does this have to do with Canadian immigration?
Nothing, really, but Indians represent such a sizable portion of PRs in the recent years that a similar sizable portion ends up in this forum, and seems like the citizenship section of the forum is the one people use for "post citizenship stuff", which for Indians include all the shenanigans resulting from that country not allowing dual citizenship...
