INDIAN POLICE CERTIFICATE IN UK

Hi All,

I am applying for an Indian police certificate through VFS UK here at London. The procedure asks me to apply through an online application form but all I see on the website is a PDF document that has to be downloaded and filled in. Can someone confirm that we are required to hand-fill the downloaded application form and not some form filled online?

You have to fill the form online, download the PDF, fill the remaining details, sign it and make an appointment on the VFS website. The online form will be partially filled when you print it. Take your proof of address in the UK along with your photograph and passport to VFS. You can use their delivery for £15 something or go to the post office and buy the silver special delivery envelope for £7 something.

My bad. I have to download the form, fill it on the computer, print and sign. I presumed there was an option to fill-in the details on the VFS site and print.

xpressentry - Unfortunately I haven't been able to click on the form and fill-in. Aah! this is frustrating, such a simple process and I can't seem to get a hang of it.

Do you fill-in the form on the computer and print it?

Filling it on the computer was the easiest thing to do. It's not mandatory. You can fill it out with a pen if you choose to. Try another browser or PDF reader. I'd suggest booking your appointment soon as you may get a date after 10 days and then the PCC will come a week later. Not sure how long you have left to submit your eAPR.
