Hi,
I am on F1 - STEM OPT and I am currently unemployed (switching job).
Is it necessary to provide office address on the application form for PCC in the"Profession / Business Address"?
Also, in the Personal Particulars Form, what should I put in profession - student or engineer or unemployed?

no it is not necessary. in PCC . you can put either student or unemployed. both are fine.
The PCC fee is $25 for each applicant and has to give Indian Community Welfare Fee (ICWF) of US $2.00 w.e.f. September 1, 2017.

I am having similar queries to what you are having on 8a and 8b.
I have been living in the USA for 3 years now, do I put my US address in 8B ? and Indian Permanent Address in 8A ?
Someone please help:
1. PP Form: I have changed couple of addresses in USA in last 6 years, should I list all in 9? Or just my current address in 8B is good enough?
2. Passport: Original, or just notarized copy?
3. Photographs: Not needed (except for those on forms)?

How soon did they return the original passports to you? It has been 2 weeks for us and the return envelopes are still not USPS system meaning they have not yet dispatched them back.
How long does SFO consulate take to return the original passports? We had sent the tracked return envelopes along with our application, it has been 2 weeks but still they are not showing as being dispatched from consulate side.
Any info will be appreciated.

I have submitted my PCC application in person on 5/14/2018. I was told by the lady at the counter, it will take 2 weeks to get approved. 3 weeks have passed now and till date there is no reply from CGI SF. My renewed passport was issued in San Francisco, USA last year. I was under the impression it would be done within a week. The agent had checked all the photocopies with the originals and returned back the passport to me. I have submitted prepaid Fedex envelope to return the PCC letter to me.
Will they call me once approved to stamp my passport or do they provide a separate PCC letter as proof of clearance ?
Has anyone recently got approved during this time ? How much time it is usually taking for the approval these days ?
Is there any correct contact info of CGI SF ? i have tried multiple times on these numbers.

@rohitgpta699 where do you track whether the package has been dispatched from consulate side? Please help i am in the same boat and helpless.
