Yes there is a airway bill no that i can track the shipment with.

To calculate total days, you sent postal on 4Jan..right? And you sent with $123.70 amount draft..right?

I sent the postal on Jan 2nd and it was delivered 3rd Jan. My file was opened and was "under process" Jan 18th.
Yes, I did sent $123.70 demand draft

Hi Guys...I sent by postal application for surrender certificate on Jan 17th...I tried tracking the status on BLS site providing my passport number but it's giving me the status of the new passport request that I submitted in 2020....any idea how I get status of my surrender certificate application?

I’m having the same issue not sure why it’s showing the old record

It's because they haven't opened your packages yet. It usually takes them 1-2 weeks to open them once they do you will see the new status.

My status is stuck at application received status since 19th Jan.. It was delivered on 10th Jan.. so I guess they opened it already on 19th Jan..isn't it?

I wonder how many days they need to validate it and send to consulate? As already 4working days passed after the first recieved status appeared.

I used this link in BLS website: "Track Application" and it shows my application status as "Under Process". Interesting thing is it also changed my Application Date from 19-01-2024 (when i checked the status on 19th) to todays date i.e., 24-01-2024.

Not sure how the application date can change?

It's bls.. even for me, they are showing date of birth and application date same for my family members as a date in Jan2024.
