When did you submitted and when was it delivered ? You can check on BLS website for tracking.

I submitted last week, I check the status now it showed form submitted

Do you know how long it takes once u submit the application approx..!

Mine shows submitted and for my spouse it shows received and in progress. However both of us submitted at the same time, in the same package,,! anyone faced this before?

Toronto side I saw people receiving it within a week. Ottawa take 4+ weeks

If the Surrender Application has already completed 4+ weeks(BLS website says - Minimum Processing Time is 3-4 weeks) and still showing "Surrender certificate is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate." , is there anything we can do to escalate or ask update? This is for Ottawa location.

HCI don't seem to have published any email id. All phone nos they shared on the website goes to BLS whose automated voice response says we don't have control over processing.

I just waited. Like I said, I got it towards the end of the 5th week. However 1 thing to note was - my certificate was printed at HCI Ottawa and sitting there for 1 full week before it reached BLS MTL.

I made a mistake in the form (incorrect expiry date of passport) and BlS did accept it and charged the fees. Han anyone faced similar issue ? Will they return the application ?
