Indian passport expiring. Parents on supervisa (expiring same as passport). can i apply for visitor record after passport renewal?

Starting new thread.

If any one is in similar situation as me. Please comment.

My parents passport is expiring in Aug 2021. They are on super visa from Oct 2020. I am planning to apply for renewal of passport. Once the new Indian passport comes. Can i apply for visitor Record? Kindly comment.
