I am in Canada on a Visitor Visa Extension record valid till Jan 2024. My visitor visa is on my Indian passport. My passport is expiring in August 2024, also my visitor visa is expiring in August 2024.
I am planning to apply for my Indian Passport Renewal. But I have a few questions/concerns if I renew my passport as below:
- My visitor visa will still be valid till August 2024 right?
- My visitor record will still be valid till Jan 2024 right?
- Can I apply for another Visitor extension record with my new passport, even when the visitor visa is on my old passport?
- If yes, what is the maximum duration I can apply for? 1 Year (Jan 2024 to Jan 2025) or only until the old passport Visitor Visa validity (August 2024).
