Indian Passport + Canadian PR - Visiting Cuba or Dominican Republic

Hello,

Both my wife and I hold Indian Passports (with more than 6 months validity period). We both also have our Permanent Resident (PR) status here in Canada. We are planning for a trip down to South for a week long vacation.

Does anybody here with an Indian Passport and Canadian PR status recently travelled to Cuba or Dominican Republic? Are you required to get any kind of tourist visa to enter these countries with the above status?

Also, if you know of other countries which are visa exempt for Canadian PRs please let me know.

I thought I would update this thread... We went to Dominican Republic and came back. No visa was required for Indian passport holders with Canadian PR status (as of December 2014)

A Canadian PR Card holder, in general may travel visa-free to the following countries: Aruba, the Bahamas,, Bermuda,Caribbean Netherlands, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Sint Maarten (Dutch part of the island). On top of that, many Caribbean countries will allow visa on arrival for holders of indian passports anyway.
