Indian applying for TRV from China outside Canada

Hi,

I have got my PGWP in Canada but I don't have time to apply for TRV as I have to leave for China immediately on work. My current study visa (TRV) expires on 30th Dec 2020. If I don't make it back by then, is it possible to apply for TRV while in China?

Yes, you can apply from China. Be advised that processing times are extremely long right now.

Can I apply even before I go to China to save some time? or should I strictly be in China to apply for the TRV?
