This is very helpful, thank you! Do you have any updates so far?Hi guys i just did my pcc application at Consulate General of India. I was guided by a member desiking in this thread who did his PCC on May 6, 2020.
So, I went to 345 Bloor St east, there is a No frill In this building and just opposite Of No Frills there is a Store naming DUPL2X Business Services...thats where u need to go. I told them that I want to Apply for my India PCC then They helped me with it.
They will provide u the envelopes $35 (forwarding and return address), draft of $92 to the consulate general of India (total cost of draft was $99.50) and they will ask you to write on both envelopes for forwarding and return addresses, put your documents in it, they will seal it, and send.
papers I submitted/ prepared:
1. Application form filled online, printed and signed at: https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html
Copy of:
2.Passport first and last Page
3.Latest Trip to india stamp page
4.My Canada visa and arrival stamp
5.My work permit copy
6.Drivers license copy
7. 2 pictures
8. With the draft i just paid for.

p.s if u buy $20 or more of groceries at No frill, Underground parking is free.
Asking because I read somewhere that Consulate is returning the applications and asking to re-submit to BLS. Not sure if this is true.
Did you send your Original documents/Passport or just coloured photo copies?
This is very confusing. The new check list - https://blsindia-canada.com/CanadaVisaCCT/toronto-PCC-Checklist-Rev-10-10-NOV-18-2020.pdf says you need to submit both Original + Photo copy but on the site it says 'Original documents are not required'.
You just need to submit photocopies, I submitted my application on Dec 8,2020 and today my status changed to "Police Verification Initiated". Hope this will help you.

Yes paid for Purolater service through BLS website on Dec 7, documents collected on Dec 8th. Reached BLS Brampton on Dec 9. No updates for 4 days, status changed to application received on Dec 14, On Dec 15 status was Application on the way to CGI. Today (Dec 16.2020) on Passport Seva website tracker shows application granted, Police verification initiated.
PS: No emails received from BLS/CGI.
I wish I could receive the notifications via email rather than insanely going through the websites use the foolish credentials and entering the crazy captchas. But I think it would be fine until they keep moving my application.

I followed the old checklist as I applied on 18th Nov, if you applying now pls follow the new checklist. It would be best to call BLS and confirm everything.
Just an update about my timeline in the tracker below:
I applied through BLS Brampton postal service on 18th Nov 2020
Got an email on 24th Nov for missing documents. Sent within 15 minutes.
Application status updated received on 26th Nov
30th Nov got an email for police verification initiated.
Police verification done at Local Thana on 2nd Dec 2020
Emailed consulate for status on 10th Dec.
Got a reply from Consulate on 14th Dec saying "Handed over the BLS. Within one week you will receive the PCC".
I sent the email to District RPO email; pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in; cons.toronto@mea.gov.in & qc.c@blsinternational.net
Also status online changed to "Police Certificate has been printed"
Status changed today to "Ready to dispatch" on BLS website.
