As per my observation Montreal is the suitable city for immigrants to move in although it is a multicultural city yet you should have knowledge of French. In terms of jobs nothing can be Said now, because initially you should have to do Odd Jobs , however there are placement agencies (I think they are Government undertaking)which will help immigrants to get them jobs according to their Education/Experience.
Furthermore living expenses depends on the locality/type of accommodation you have selected.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on 16-01-17.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on 06.03-17
3. We started processing your application on 10-04-17

Above is showing My status last year Apr-17 and haven't received medical yet.
Can anyone suggest me, what should i do?
