Hi Guys,
I have got medical request on 15 Sept 2017 and got the medical done on 20th Sep 2017. I have sent the medical tracking sheet to NDVO today by courier.

Kindly note that as per the current trend NDVO is taking 15+ months to complete the process from the date of the receipt of your application , however we (including myself and 3-4 other forum members whose visa office is New Delhi as well) are already in the 15th month but our background check has still not started yet & we all are waiting for the DM whereas we have completed our Medicals in Dec end or in Jan starting .

So just relax, pray and wait patiently one day we all will get the success .

Really Fingers Crossed dear, as your application has received by CIC on 07/07/16 & Mine was delivered on 20/07/16 so hopefully both we will get the DM within the same time frame.

But there are two points of worry the first one is that the background check has still not been started yet & the another one is if our Applications will be Approved as per Sandy01 or as per jitenderakkari timeline(approx. in 15 months) then we may have PPR by the end of the Next month(October) whereas our medicals will get expired by the End of this year or in the First Half of Jan'2018, so what we can expect Re-Medical or Visa with normal validity (Means we will have time for landing of 4-6 months) or Visa With under 3 months of validity (in this case we will have to do the landing late to late by the start of jan'2018)

Kindly Share your opinion.

Yes Dear, you are absolutely right about the visa validity.

As i remember, someone ( maybe Sandy, i am not sure, I'll check the previous posts & will update you ) got DM and PPR without update on Gckey.

Maybe background check started but not updated ????? ( purely guess, for the hope)

Re- Medical i don't think they will ask !

I'm worried about winter too, coz I'm going to land with my 5 years son.

By the by my intention is to depart immediately once i have the visa like 1 week and maximum of 3 weeks.

Web form strictly no use, as they are delivering the generic replies unlike the inland applicants get proper information through phone line directly ( at least after long waiting for the officer to answer, at least they hear something good )

Believed in NDVO and resigned from job in July(locum job). ( actually permanent job in February ). Expected departure in August.

God knows, why NDVO officers hibernate in summer and Rainy season???????

Processing delays mentioned on their twitter. ( We are currently processing a high volume of applications & appreciate your patience. We will contact you if we need additional info )


But they are busy in MBA program, study canada, announces embassy tomorrow closed , parties, gardening, meetings, plantation, photography contest, what not, everything they are doing, except processing QSW visas .

Hope some officer will wakeup soon to give us a sweet news

In undertaking Form A-0546-GA question 1.2 Home Address( Enclose proof of your address in Quebec , If you are living outside Quebec you must include form A-539-A)

My question is which address I have to write in reply of Q no. 1.2 . My home address when I was in Quebec or my Current address of United Arab Emirates. ???

In Section 2 of From A-546-GA Information about your spouse( Where Applicable)

We need to fill this part or no??? (Because we dint have any co signatory)

In Section 5 I am domiciled in Quebec Yes or No. Which one I have to select???

Also please advise in Form A-1520-BA their is no Form available in French but still they mentioned on English version we have to filled out this form in french . Please advise we will fill only English version of this Form ???

Really frustrating....it seems NDVO guys are playing with our time & emotions.

I often get marketing calls from various immigration consultants who convince me to apply for Canada PR and they will land me Canada in 11th Months 101 percent.

When I tell them that I have already applied for Canada PR and have been waiting for more than 11 months after file being received, they just bang the phone and run away.

They promise me PR in 50K rupees and have the plans to extract more than 7 to 8L eventually.

Many clever and cheat ones tell me that my application is wrong, it should have been filed by respected agents (respect ????), my application has a bug ( bug ????), individuals applicants are not liked by embassy (liked ???), we could have filed your application with more confidence ( confidence ???) , We are best agent because our boss had dinner with many big big pradhan mantris (PMs) of western world and has shook hands with many big people like bush etc etc.


Its really crazy.


I come across many people who have fallen into traps of these unscrupulous agents and are nowhere even after 7 yrs of filing application through these agents.

It may be a surprise for many people here that many agents are filing applications for clients by taking advice from this portal.

They don't even know the postal address of canada embassy and claim to be canada pr specialist.

3lakhs (including hidden charges) per applicant as processing charges taken from min 100 applicants per year is whooping 3 Crores INR.


Its not understandable how someone can get PR in 11 months under normal circumstances when waiting time for DM itself is more than 15 months after file received or 1 year after medical passed.

I totally understand your frustration. Unfortunately you cannot control timelines at NDVO and I do not see any point fretting about it . All of you will eventually get PR.

How about channeling your energy into something productive that can help you in settling down in Canada?
Relocation plan ( What to bring from home country, When to land ),
Housing ( Province, City, Locality, Housing Complex ) ,
Job Search preparation ( resume, LinkedIn, Prospective employers, Recruiting/Staffing agencies) ,
Banking ( Where are you opening first account, Money transfer from Home country)
etc. etc.

I got medical on 18th Sept and I had my child on 20th Sept. I went to cic website and filled in web form for update your ongoing application and also sent email to NDVO asking the procedure to add new born in ongoing application.

We were ready with all the plannings in first week of March 2017. CIC portal clearly states that PPR within 3 months from medical but unfortunately that did not happen for some poor souls.

I along with few others members will complete 16 months soon
