Congrats!Hey guys - Update: Got eVisa ETA issued today - validity 1 year (they haven't started 5 years for Canadian passport for some unknown reason). It took less than. 24 hours. I entered NA for the "Citizenship/National Id No" in the application form.

Did you enter NO for 'Have you ever visited India before?' in ''Previous Visa/Currently valid Visa Details' section?

that's the best part - it's directly applied at Gov of India website. I'm sure if it would have been online via BLS, they would take weeks to process
I don’t think visa will be cancelled if you just apply for OCI…but once you get your OCI, visa might get cancelled automatically which wouldn’t matter anymore.

I applied for entry visa for my newborn by postal in Vancouver, do anyone know how much time it will take??
Got 3 emails saying that the evisa is granted. We will have to take print out of these emails, right? There isn't any PDF or anything like that they'll send?

Yes print the email that says its granted with ETA number, your passport number and name

can you guide me what category you chose to apply for 1 yr e Visa and how long it takes? I want to apply eVisa for my minor so depend on category how early i should apply for Visa? traveling date is 29th Dec
