Hi All,
Need your help on replying back to query received from Immigration case officer on different locations selected during EOI and LAA submissions. Below are the details:
1. Background: Applied for Manitoba PNP and while submitting EOI I selected City to move in as Belmont by mistake, though should have selected Oak Bluff where my sponsor (Aunt) resides.
2. While submitting document, I consulted immigration department over phone and learnt from them that City should be Oak Bluff since my sponsor resides there. When I entered Oak Bluff as City to move in, there was a warning message (since it was different during EOI submission). Again I consulted Immigration office over email and they suggested to write Letter of Explanation to case officer explaining the mistake and select the city where sponsor resides (Oak Bluff).
3. Submitted Letter of Explanation highlighting this mistake, along with all required documents.
4. Yesterday (November 20, 2018), received query from Immigration case officer asking for clarification / justification for this incorrect information shared.
5. Would require your suggestion on handling this query and what can be more appropriate reply to their query.
Should we call the case officer and explain that we have made mistakes and we have all required documents from my Aunty confirming on her residence in Oak Bluff.
Please advice.
Regards,
Rohit Trikha
