In a hypothetical situation where we do not get any updates even by the last week of August, What other alternative options are we left with?
Do we still attend online courses if the college lets you do so? Some courses cannot be deferred for one term since they have only fall intake. I think we should start preparing now for all possible outcomes. Please advice on your course of action?

Not to sound pessimistic, but we need to be prepared.

Also many of the may applicant have deferred for Sept so DLI already have enough students for Sept intake

But there are applicants who haven’t received any response even after deferring for September from May. So , god knows what is really going out there

I guess we should write an email to the respective colleges and send a web form to IRCC by August mid. Because some colleges have pre orientation week by August 30th

You can't take online classes until you get AIP confirmation from embassy.

Many of the April/may applicant already had their visa by 1st week of march which they had deferred to September and that's my main concern DLI have enough students for Sept intake so embassies are not priotizing our application

All I can say is after waiting for so long we still don’t have a reply. I really have no clue why give hopes by saying they are fast tracking applications for September intake when they are god knows doing what.

Not necessarily. Embassies were closed for 3 months. If VO has any issues with enrollment, they'll request new LOA for the confirmation of Fall session.

I don't see any hope for Sept. One more day wasted today with no new update on my gc key.

Same. And to be honest it isn’t advisable to start studying without any reply. Inspite of paying so much. What a disappointment

This was true till they changed the rules. This isn't true anymore.

Now, students may start the program online in September, if they have submitted a study permit application before Sept 15th, and have submitted all docs required for the in-principle approval (except biometrics & medical which can wait).

This time will count for PGWP, but travel is only possible with full approval.

But it's up to the institution - better confirm with them once.
