In Process vs In Progress

Hello! My husbands immigration file is currently being processed in Kingston.

This week instead of the "application received" that I have seen for months it changed to "In Process".

Some people have said that this indicates eligability has been passed and an interview has been waived.

They say that if it said "In Progress" it would indicate they were working to determine if we passed eligability.

Can anyone confirm or deny this??

Can anyone tell me how long their file showed "in process" prior to received a passport request? And if they received an interview?

Any information would be great!

"In Process" doesn't mean the interview is necessarily waived. It just means CIC has started looking actively at the file.

My file is in process since 5th of March 2015 and from my notes it states that eligibility has passed.

Got email stating that background check is still outstanding.

Our status has been changed to "in process" a week ago.
Could anybody advise when I can place an order for notes? Once date of interview is set up? or now?

You can order notes anytime you want.
But you should time it in such a way that your file should have moved so that you can see progress.
Or else if you order them too early, all it will say is application received.
