Which means your background check is complete and clean. Expect DM in a day or two and then a wait for PPR.

Really?
My background check has been in progress for 40 days now. No more updates.. what does that mean.

It doesn't mean the same thing for everybody. It used to be a trend (and still holds for some applicants like Yampower) that whenever the background check of an outland changed to "In process" the PPR will follow within days. But sometimes it doesn't... in my case, for example, my background check changed to "In progress" two weeks after AOR and it is still that way. They only movement I've seen was last Tuesday when I was requested to pay the RPRF (3 months later!). Your case seems to be like mine, so get ready to wait for a little bit :)

For outlanders usually bgcheck moves to in progress during the final stages.

I am inland applicant... submitted application on June 2...

Big problem, last night CIC emailed to update marriage certificate, which I haven't applied yet. I have supporting doc regarding marriage that's what I have submitted. CIC said we started working on your file, to complete your application please submit your marriage certificate within 7 days, I have to submit by Sep 3, however Service Canada told me I will receive it by Sep 4. :(

Please suggest me anyone what should I do.

Yeah, so I've heard. But it wasn't like that for me and I guess it is not for PrincessGudiya :/

gudiya ji,

what about your ECAS does it say BG in progress?

and how many lines in ECAS?

Hello everyone

Please advise.

I have AOR 15 may , FSW invitee Inland...I noticed, i forgot to include my NOA 2014 in my application.
Do you guys suggest sending it via CSE now?? or I should wait as they might be making decision any time now. as lots of May applicants have got PPR already (i guess)

My ECAS is 3 lines In process with correct dates.

If u think it is important document for them to decide .. go ahead and submit CSE ... in my case it took only 2 working days for them to atttach a document to my application ..

Again with CIC .. it is not guaranteed on time .. Normal CSE processing time is 30 days .. it is your call now

Hi iceberg,

If you have proofs of having applied for the certificate, and also the communication where Service Canada tells you you will receive it by Sept 04 then go ahead and submit that to CIC with a letter of explanation. They should extend the deadline if you can prove that you have requested the document.

Good luck!

Oh I'm sure you will be seeing some movement very very soon :)
God bless. I wish the very same for you! Though in retrospect, I also wish I hadn't paid RPRF upfront! Haha
