Improved EE Score - Now What?

Have you got a clb 9 and more in all bands in ielts? I got clb 9 in my 5th attempt and my score jumped from 412 to 472 but I wasn't in the pool back then as Wes and ielts were on simultaneously.

i just couldn't do well in speaking, all the other 3 sections i always score minimum 7.5/9
but speaking 6.5
i get nervous and start blabbering stuff
if i have scored 7 in speaking my score would have jumped to 469
now i am sitting at 424 and waiting anxiously for the score to fall below 425
my last ray of hope, since i have only 2 months left in my PGWP

But CIC gave me extra points for canadian work experience. I would be completing my two years in April 23rd . I still don't know should I accept or reject the ITA (if I get it)? :-\

I think if you accept and submit after April 23rd you should be okay. I am in a similar situation and planning to do so.

absolutely reject it... they will check at point of ITA if you were eligible for the points you claim or not... and i have already seen 2-3 rejections due to this...

Is this true? I read somewhere in the forum that u can accept it and the condition is either you should have the points when u get the ITA or when you respond to the ITA. In this case, I believe the candidate can accept it after 23rd april and he is all good.

not entirely true... they count your eligibility from the time you get ITA, there is no accept button for ITA, just continue application or decline it...

i know persons who accepted the ITA and got their PR. I guess it all depends on who is dealing with your case but to be safe I said reject it until April 23.

I first created my EE profile back in December when I missed the IELTS points because I got only 6.5 in writing so my total CRS < 400.
I re-took the exam and now my total CRS is 419. I updated the details in my EE with new score and updated profile in job bank.

I am just wondering what more I can do from my end to increase my chances of draw selection.
As these are the maximum points that I can attain in CRS, now what to do from my end for better chances of selection?

Earlier someone told that I can opt for PNP but as per my knowledge, BC and O will give PNP based on my profile in the EE and there is no need or point of contacting these provinces. Kindly enlighten.

Without a job offer or PNP, not much you can do other than languages. If you are at max on English, evaluate if you can learn some French. I have been planning to apply to EE since last years, before all changes that dropped points. I already had great IELTS scores, so I aimed at French. I studied it many years ago, but it had been 15 years since I last used it!! So I took private lessons for 10 weeks, 3x a week and took the TEF last December. That granted me 14 additional points.

But that is a lot of work if you are at zero language wise. Also TEF only happens few times during the year and takes one month to realease results. You need to evaluate if you believe that scores will continue dropping or start learning French!
