Important question about IELTS

I am a pharmacist and I want to apply for skilled worker immigration, but I need maximum points from the language category in order to reach the 67 points threshold. I took 2 ielts exams, one in March 2012 and one in October 2011.. My results were:

October: L 6.5
S 6
(R 5.5)
W 6.5

I took the exam again, but I got these results:

March: L 7.5
S 6.5
R 6.5
but W 6

So, if we consider either of these results, I will not be qualified for immigration.. So, can I send both of my IELTS certificates so they may consider the top results of each branch? Or must I get the maximum points in only one exam set?

Please help me with your experience

The last IELTS exam is fine except for the writing part, and writing is ok in the previous exam result, so can they consider only writing from the first exam set, and the other parts from the last one?

U would need to get L: 7.5, S:6.5, R:6.5, W:6.5 to gain full 16 points in one exam set.......two diff. results won't be counted

Get the desired bands at one go

I am in the same NOC and had excatly the same situation as yours!! I got stuck with the Listening part as I always got 7 and end up with a total of 65 points :'(

It was a terrible experience for me, as I was writing the IELTS only the listening part as I always got a high marks in all other sections. Last time I worte the exam, I got 8 in L part and finally got rid from this hell.

If you can speak little french, you can write the french exam and got the neccessary needed marks in order to qualify for immigration.

Good Luck

Thanks for the advice laziophilic, but I don`t think there`s enough time for me to take another IELTS or TEF exam... Remember the last year pharmacists who applied after August were refused due to CAP reaching.

Hey siddharth_pharma8, I wish you (as well as me ;D) the best of luck.. They proposed changes in skilled worker immigration program for this year that could help us.. They proposed to decrease the language requirements, and increase the number of points awarded for it (YAY), and also proposed to lower the optimum age range (YAY again ;D)...
My only fear is the experience part.. I hardly have 5 years experience, and they are thinking of increasing experience requirements AND decreasing the number of points awarded for this

So guys, anyone have an inside scope to whether they are going to apply these changes or not?
