Thanks Anil,
No the score of IELTS IS 5.5, and as you are saying we have to score points in other sections, there is no other sections which i can get scores in that.. is that mean i wont be ablel to countine with my application. :(

Dear Shahla

I think you didn't get me. I said IELTS is the best factor... where you can score and improve the same. Now you are saying it is 5.5 bands, means you are scoring around 8 points....... There is a full scope / chance of scoring further 8 points .... So dear friend, just try to improve your IELTS .... go for a good coaching, attend mock classes, listen to the IELTS cassettes AND give some time to your capability. Repeat the exam .... you can score a max of 16 points ...... 4 points more than what you require!!!! Do not loose hope .... you can do it. All the BEst.

Cheers, Anil

Hi friends,I have two questions.
I have a current account,is it necessary to have a savings account for proof of funds? If I change it now it will show as a new account.
The second question is that I got my reference letter from my employer in October. However, due to some unforeseen problems my application got delayed.I'll be applying in January now. Do I need to get another ref.letter now. Please help.Your input is greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,
I withdrew my case in June 2010,and I got CIC letter in Sept. 2010 but didn't get refund yet.In letter they said that I would get refund within 10-12 weeks.but nothing................

Hello experts,

I have situation here......I have submitted application in New delhi,India in skilled worker catergary in mid of 2007.I relocated to USA and communicated with Buffalo,USA office & New Delhi,India office for application transfer in early 2010. They conclude the communication with countinuing to process the application from New Delhi,India even though i am living in usa from more then 2 years.

I am interested in going for NEW skilled worker application in centralised process. So please guide me on

1)If i submit the new skilled worker application thru CIO ,with no action on my new delhi application,What can be the possible impact/chances of new application getting thru the process?

2)Based on my situation what would be my best option to get the things going for the skilled worker application?

Thanks
Ditija

Hey brill

Where were you man ...... after long time. Please come to the actual thread for post 26 june applicants.......
Mid August applicants are getting their PERs now.... so we have to wait .... (I am just below you ...... in the tracker!!!!)
emailId given by Dr. Hasib is correct. That ID is useful to know the present status of the application. But I suggest you to wait for some more time. As for the refund is concerned ...... again I think you have to wait ...... calling them is of no use... but still ....... CIC call centre number: +16139444000, then dial 1-2-1-2-0

Hi Ditija ......Welcome to the forum!!

(1) You can certainly (re)apply as per the new Instructions, provided you are satisfying their PR requisite ...... with all 67 points, your 1 year experience as per NOC list etc..... But after getting a positive response (means whenever you feel that you are sure to have maple leaves on your PP), you have to withdraw the other application. There won't be ANY impact on your previous application, if you want to submit a fresh one under new process.

(2) Under old process, it's still 1st Qtr of 2004, that is being considered for PR ..... and yours is 2007 :o :o...... Looooong way to go!!! Check the present status of your NOC and submit a fresh one as per the new process.

Cheers, Anil

hello guys,
I would like to know some information regarding my husband work experience. he has a work experience of around 3 yrs as a restaurant manager in Nepal. But his study is in computer Science and has done masters. will this effect this eligibility or not.
he is about to give his ielts also and is good in english. so his overall score will be more then 70 if he claims points for master in computer.
Please let me know.
eagerly waiting for your reply.
or does he need same work experience as his education to apply.
