Hi Manshriram

Finally you are ready with your application.. 8) 8) .... please see the instruction guide EG7000...page no 36...the address is given right there... All the best.

Cheers, Anil

The address is mentioned is not correct, the courier person DHL is sayin that the address is not correct.

Dear Friends,

PCC is not required. Do not worry about that if one case has been found returned not having the PCC.
This could be due to only one reason: The VISA specific checklists got updated recently (in AUG/SEPT) where it is now showing NO OPTION to Check the PCC if applying under FSW.

Earlier (even post 26/6 - JUN/JULY) I remember, there used to be Check mark available for the PCC encloser. I am sure, the gentlemen who got deined might have used the old checklists.

So, DUMB CIC officers, matches everything from the checklists and found no PCC attached <- THEY GOT A REASON TO DENY !!!

Any other thoughts ? Do anyone agree to my thought?

Cheers,
Shadab

Hi Anil. Even the issue of the Police Certificate is not a certainty. We already have one recent case of a post 25 June applicant whose application was returned for the lack of it. It may well be a mistake on the part of CIO, and until Hub2 gets a clarification from CIO/VO it remains a question unanswered. Whichever their answer may be, it is nevertheless quite a worrying thought for such a thing to happen – for different reasons of course!

Cheers

Regarding Hub2 having the returned app because the PCC was not included...I am so sorry. When was the application received by CIO? I think they discontinued the PCC requirement after AUGUST 4th. Was Hub's app sent in between June 26 and Aug 4? Best of luck!

Hi Pippin - hub2's application was received by CIO on the 30th August, as per Row 56 of the Post 25 June Tracker - https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tlbJsa0NlV-nFVmQca8Apzg&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFA#gid=0. Cheers.

Thanks all for your input. I agree with Shadab. The checklist I used is an outdated one. I downloaded the form on Aug 14. My application was received by CIO Aug 30, but sent it seven days earlier. Hard to tell, but I may have missed the update of my VO's checklist. New checklist was updated "08-2010".

The new checklist DOES EXCLUDE the check box for the PCC under FSW, and an additional paragraph explains PCC is not required.

I find it somewhat comforting that it all makes sense--that my situation is due to procedure (my bad), not to subjectivity on the receiving end. This strengthens my hope!

Will resend ASAP!

Thank you and warm regards, forum members. You rock.

I really felt bad for you my friend!

This proves that how dumb are CIC officers or rather "Clerks". :)
They have been hired just for matching checklists & encashing money.

Good Luck this time! Send your app asap, again!

Ya true
They are dumb
They are looking for a reason to reject the app.
There is always a luck factor
I am not sure if applicants have the privilege to appeal a rejection through an attorney? Anybody know?

Anyway, CYA guys, that’s all we can do.

Dear friend

You have to first go through the Instruction Guide (EG7000 or EG7). Download the same from the above-mentioned web site. You will then get a clear picture of the actual procedure. After that you ask your doubts..... we are here to help you ......don't worry.... Just do it fast...... All the Best.
