Hello,
Im just putting in for my extension for 6 months this Monday (i'm due out by May 14th) But we are going to mail this in, and I heard the processing times can take up to 60 days if not longer. That is longer then the time I am allowed left. If I do not hear back from them before May 14th, I am still allowed to stay in Canada as I am on "implied Status" correct? I just wonder this, because doing so online has a much quicker processing time, would the CIC see people trying to stay in Canada longer by mailing the application in rather then doing so online? Is one way of doing the application better then the other? (mail or online?) I want to make sure that I dont over stay, and I am allowed to be here. Thank you for your time and input!
