IMP!!! Does WES consider MBA in Distance from IMT GHAZIABAD

IQAS does it and we have received positive evaluations for many applicants. Dont know about CES.
Do not think otherwise, just apply at IQAS

Hi. I have ECA done for my bachelors and IMT Ghazibad (regular course) from WES and got "TWO or more degrees/Diploma with one more than 3 years" . Now:
1. Can I go for ECA for IMT Gzb from IQAS again as it recognizes it as Masters? (There will be a bump of about 7 points
2. Will I need to delete IMT assessment from my WES report
3. Will I have to go for assessment for both degrees again?

My distance IMT was recognized as two or more. You can give it a try but they take 6 months to assess. No need to delete assessment report. As per cic they want your last degree to be assessed so you may send mba to get assessed early, if you get two or more from iqas then submit wes report else iqas only.

Could someone help me with a few doubts -

1) IMPORTANT!! Is MBA from IMT CDL (Centre for Distance Learning) Ghaziabad qualified by WEC?
- ANYONE from IMT who has tried his luck?

2) IF NOT - Could you please suggest some Post Graduate Diploma - 1 year which is
most likely to be considered by WEC?
All suggestions are welcome please!!

3) LASTLY! - Is it legal to pursue/register for PG DIPLOMA (which you guys suggest in point 2) while already being in the 2nd year of my MBA (I have completed 1 year of my 2 yrs course) - INCASE IF MY MBA HAPPENS TO BE NOT APPROVED BY WEC

FYI: I have 1 yr work ex in India which will be 2 yrs by the time my MBA ends in 2017 Dec.

Any other suggestions advice is welcome as well!!

IQAS accepts IMT distance learning diploma, but IQAS had temporary closed its office till may so I sent my documents to ICAS for ECA.

1. WES doesn't recognises CDL. Go for IQAS
2. IQAS will consider this as a regular diploma so points will be accordingly given to your application.

IMT CDL is evaluated by CES (University of Toronto). I got my 15 months PGDBA evaluated as "1 year post graduate diploma"

IQAS with one year post graduate diploma

I got my ECA today (23March2019) from IQAS.
It's positive for IMT CDL.
2 year PDGM is equivalent to "completion of University Diploma" -- whatever that means.
I did PGDM in 2016-17
My timeline
Docs delivered: 28th Oct
First email received: 3rd Jan
Status updated to Final Review: 15 Feb
Status updated to Mailed: 23 March

I also saw someone's comment, by Shash1601 on a thread on here mentioning -- IMT CDL is evaluated by CES university of Toronto - He got his 15 months PGDBA evaluated as One Year Post Graduate Diploma. This post was from Oct 23, 2020 so pretty recent.

Yes, its approved and you get 1 year Post Graduate Diploma from IQAS.

As WES is recognizing degrees from sikkim manipal university(directorate of distance education), did any one of you get an MBA degree assessed by wes as masters (2 years). kindly share your experience in this regard. Although IQAS already recognizes this as 2 years Masters.

Sikkim Manipal University

WES evaluates study completed at Sikkim Manipal University from 2016 onwards.
WES does not evaluate study completed at Sikkim Manipal University prior to 2016. If your program was completed at this institution prior to 2016, do not include this credential in your application. If included, this will cause a delay in processing your evaluation.

This is what WES says, It says nothing about distance education.

I completed masters in 2016 but i read somewhere that WES evaluates SMU DE masters as 4 yr bachelors or diploma... is that true?
