Hi my name is francisca...I need your help urgent. I am sponsoring my common law partner. We sent all papers to the address that appears in the sponsorship guide: Sponsorship Applications for Spouses, Common-law or Conjugal Partner and Dependent Children.

Address
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Ontario, Mississauga, L5A 4N6

Once I got the delivery confirmation from the courier company it says that is was sent to the Permanent Resident Card Courier Address:

Address
49 Dorchester Street
Nova Scotia, Sydney, B1P 5Z2

Please can anyone tell me why it was sent to this address and not to the first one :(, I am seriously worried.

1. You didn't read the instructions, you sent the application by courier to the mailing address. The courier address in the instructions is

If you are sending the application by a courier service instead of by mail, use this address (no public drop-offs):

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Whether it gets to the correct address or is returned, it is anyone's guess.

just to clarify, a courier would be someone like fedex, UPS, etc? it doesnt include Canada Post?

Yes, that is correct.

Incorrect- Canada Post can also considered a courier if you opt for the signature option. Any mail delivered that requires a signature (even Canada Post) should be sent here:

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

SORRY MY MISTAKE, THE ADRESS THAT WE SENT IT TO WAS

CASE PROCESSING CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA
2 ROBERT SPECK PARWSY, SUITE 300
MISSISSAUGA, ON, L4Z 1H8

BUT IT DIDNT ARRIVE HERE, IT GOT SEND TO THE OTHER ADDRESS IN SYDNEY VANCOUVER.

I did mine with signature by Canada POst,, I sent it to the mailing address and it was ok...

Does anyone know who can I contact in order to find out what else should I do or who to talk to? Its a huge nightmare to find out that the papers did not arrive to the address Case Processing Centre – Mississauga. Its not that easy to get together all the papers again:(

I am sure that the PR Card guys in Nova Scotia will realise that it is a spousal sponsorship application wrongly delivered to them once they open it and either return it to you or more likely forward it on to Mississauga. This is probably not the first time such a mix up has happened.

You can try calling the Nova Scotia office, not sure how much they will be able to tell you though. It will probably take at least 2 / 3 weeks to work through the process, which I know leaves you in limbo and worrying.......

The Robert Speck Parkway address is where CPC-M is. The address is correct. We can confirm, we sent our inland pkg there via Purolator. It was delivered 10h later.

thanks but I just wanted to know if you send the package via Canada Post with Signature confirmation, would we send it to the courier address, Robert Speck Parkway, or the mailing address, P.O. Box 3000, Station A?

Signature required means courier. That goes to Robert Speck.

Though, I'd send courier, personally.
