I'm new here and just saw your signature . I believe that you applied for both Student Visa and PR together?Did you have to mention in your application about your dual intent? Don't they question our ties with home country. I'm asking as I already got one rejection.

Hi, I didn't apply together. I applied for my SP first and got approval in April. I then applied for my PR in May after I got my Provincial nomination. I didn't mention about PR in my SP application as I had not yet received nomination/ITA by then. In my PR application, I did answer "Yes" to the question about previous application to Canada and I mentioned my Study permit in my explanation.
Dual intent is recognised and honored by IRCC. It should not be a problem.

Thank you for the guidance. I always found it challenging to answer that part. My SP was rejected as I applied from outside my home-country aswell - but they did object on my weak ties with home-country. Thanks!!
