Unless you have a particularly complicated place, you wont need a lawyer for EE.

Have a look around this forum, ask any questions you might have and you will see there are plenty of people who can help you out.

All the best!

Honestly, unless you're worried about not being admissible due to a criminal record or something similar, save your money. I contacted a local immigration attorney when I first started this and he flat out laughed at me and told me I could do it myself (which has proven true).

However, that being said, I do recognize for those who's native language is not English, the wording at times can be a bit confusing. In that case, still, save your money. Use this forum for guidance, as well as the CIC's website for reference.

In some cases agents are needed... Not only when its complicated but when you dont wanna risk having an error which would result in refusal.

Good agents are hard to find.

I am using th eservices of Ak Canada.

good thing about them is they only charge you 25% of the fee for creating your express entry profile. Rest of the payment is made after you receive an Invitation to Apply and later stages.

Best of luck.

Can you tell us what have they quoted for the Express entry process? What amount do they need upfront and what amount post ITA?
